Most private charters ask you to disconnect entirely a trade some guests welcome, and others quietly dread before booking. Andamari’s Starlink removes that dilemma. Among our two Phinisi, it is Andamari alone that carries this connection, quietly built into her decks.
Present When You Need It, Invisible When You Don’t
Starlink runs through Andamari without announcing itself. For instance, it’s there the moment a guest needs to send one email before dinner. Yet for the rest of the voyage, it stays out of sight, out of mind. As a result, mornings still begin slowly, and evenings still stretch long over dinner on deck, exactly as they would without it.
Who Finds It Useful
Not every guest needs Andamari’s Starlink, and that’s precisely the point. Those running a business remotely find it invaluable. Others simply want to share a sunset photo the moment it happens, rather than days later back on land. Meanwhile, guests who came to disconnect entirely are free to do exactly that the connection asks nothing of anyone.
A Small Addition, a Larger Freedom
For travelers hesitant about committing to days at sea, this single detail often settles the decision. It removes the one hesitation that keeps some guests from booking a longer voyage. Luxury, in the end, isn’t about disconnecting from the world. It’s about deciding, entirely on your own terms, when to.
Why Andamari’s Starlink Matters
- Available throughout the voyage, without affecting onboard pace
- Useful for remote work, without turning the trip into one
- Lets guests share moments in real time, if they choose to
- Entirely optional easy to ignore for those seeking full disconnection
- A feature unique to Andamari among our fleet
Andamari was built as our flagship for groups who want the full reach of Indonesia’s eastern seas. Her Starlink connection is simply one more way she does that without asking anyone to choose between comfort and distance from the world. Learn more about Andamari or compare her with Adishree.
